I don't think a false flag is necessary. What when the USS Lincoln group comes across a Chinese tanker full of Iranian oil on his way from Bander Abbas to Guangzhou or Tianjin? Do they stop it? Do they sink it? After all the announcements from the White House they have to do it.

The UN has said stopping Iran from selling oil is illegal so either way the US is responsible I don't know what China would do if the US seized one of its tankers but this American government looks like it wants to start a war in the gulf sea or south China sea.
