It's unlikely that we are talking about a full scale border incursion by TAF (cuz US forces)
more likely is going to be constant Turk artillery strikes in outlying areas btw Euphrates & Kobani...
at the same time as constant HTS militant strikes on W. Aleppo through Manbij front.
The idea is to 'wear down' the coalition resolve.

Very likely. Plus US KUrdish proxies will abandon their positions on the eastern bank of Euphrates. They gonna march north ant they will be followed by ISIS. Thus there will appear vacuum, empty space on the eastern bank of Euphrates. And, then, SAA may tak opportunity and croos the river. Just look at the earlier posted map:

Isis always crosses the river in small boats to carry out small raids and America does nothing, But this attack seems more about Isis trying to break into Iraq rather than capturing Abu Kamal so far.
