Meat, vegetable and dairy prices are set to rise "at least" 5% in the coming months because of the UK's extreme weather this year, research suggests.
Consultancy CEBR said 2018's big freeze and heatwave would end up costing consumers about £7 extra per month.

NHK tv; Japan government setting up emergency taskforce. Power still out, some building collapsed and damaged, some people trapped. Roads have big cracks. Nuclear plant cooling still on deisel generator. Water/sewage out in many places. Many people reporting it the strongest they experienced. Many aftershocks and more expected which could be as big as the first.
