For Forum members: If some posts looks strange, do not display propperly etc. then make sure that you have "Allways allow HTML" option set to "Yes". It is in your account under preferences, 5th line from the bottom, 2nd above the board language options.
Guests shouldn't have problems with that afaik.

Btw Zod, I happened to discover that when using VPN IPs from a select few European countries it doesn't allow guest posting on your forum. Therefore, I would take a guess and say it follows that people from these certain countries can't post on the forum using their normal IP without signing up. Not an issue for me of course and it isn't that big a deal I guess, but just thought you might like to know anyway.

Interesting. I'll try to check but there isn't such measure activated from my side I think. Does it call some kind of error or notification?

Did you do anything else or just hit Send button once again and it was posted? I'll check out some other stups tomorrow but not sure if it's just because of VPNs that are blocked randomly by several providers.

Just hit send, nothing else.
It could be a VPN issue, but I would guess not. For example, other UK VPNs I tried behave in the exact same way as my home UK IP when I send a post. The problem seems to arise only when connecting to a VPN from certain countries.

Well, no big deal then. What country it was btw? I guess there are some precausions I can't change. The color cirle was connected with the certain type of guests' names, linked with quite large database of oftenly used spammer/bot names. This can be changed. IP's are quite different thing as they are dynamic, especially through VPN services.

At first yes, it is possible tu set up an https version of the site. I'll order SSL certificate for https version of the pagelater this week, guess on Friday. It should be in effect for 12 months. I'll send global announcement through the forum prior the update.
Also I'm considering to order custom domain name. If I'll decide to do so then I'll send global announcement through the forum as well.
From the listed above follows that, at the moment, I don't consider to move the forum to another platform. At this moment this platform is quite suitable I think. We will see what will future bring tho'.
At least but not last - there isn't a donation section at the moment. However I may add some Paypal payment button or such thing for folunteer donations. All upgrades as SSL certificate or domain name cost credists and credits are for real money. As well as premium package for the forum. The forum, its accessibility or functions won't be anyhow influenced by donations if I'll decide to introduce this possibility. No paid accounts with benefits or such things.

As you maybe noticed already: Since this afternoon the pictures added to posts through "Insert image" button are automatically resized now.
Maximum size of image is600pxx600px. If larger picture added then you can enlarge it using the button above the pic.
Hioefully it will make posting pictures easier and too big pictures won't take too much space.

The main reason for my wish to change this society is that so many human skills have no chance to come to fruition. Instead they are used in a really sick way so that people are maintaining their own suffering from wars, hunger and illness. But it can not be changed "top-down", only in some kind of "grassroots revolution" or better "evolution" where more and more people work together to get rid of TPTB (whoever that is).
No need for a "big event" but development. One of my ideas to reach it: Don't play "their" games - don't use "their" rules - don't think in the box of "their" paradigms.
It's more "refuse" than "resist" - without too much ideology. You don't need to know much about "what's going on behind the curtains", it's mainly to create your own rules together with like-minded people.
That is what I mean with "I'm on the side of the people".

The main reason for my wish to change this society is that so many human skills have no chance to come to fruition. Instead they are used in a really sick way so that people are maintaining their own suffering from wars, hunger and illness. But it can not be changed "top-down", only in some kind of "grassroots revolution" or better "evolution" where more and more people work together to get rid of TPTB (whoever that is).
No need for a "big event" but development. One of my ideas to reach it: Don't play "their" games - don't use "their" rules - don't think in the box of "their" paradigms.
It's more "refuse" than "resist" - without too much ideology. You don't need to know much about "what's going on behind the curtains", it's mainly to create your own rules together with like-minded people.
That is what I mean with "I'm on the side of the people".

yesterday I couldn't go to the forum for several hours, what had happened? This was the second time. Has this to do with moving the forum or something else?
